Akinyemi Akiwowo concentrates in commercial litigation, construction litigation, and product liability matters where he has represented manufacturers and distributors of automobiles, and industrial and commercial equipment in cases alleging defective design and manufacture, breach of warranty, violation of the Magnuson Moss Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act, and consumer fraud. After receiving his law degree in 2005, Mr. Akiwowo served as Assistant Prosecutor in Union County where he represented the State of New Jersey in criminal trials. He joined Coughlin Duffy LLP in January 2007. Mr. Akiwowo was recently appointed to the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Rules of Evidence.
