James Garland is a Member of the Firm where he oversees the Taxation, Trusts and Estates department. He devotes his practice to the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, estate and trust litigation, elder law and guardianships. After graduation from law school, Mr. Garland served as a member of the Tax Department of Deloitte & Touche for three years. In 1986, he joined the law firm of Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP and became partner in 1994. He joined Coughlin Duffy LLP in June 2004.
