Robert Kelly is a founding Member of the Firm where his practice includes insurance litigation and counseling, commercial litigation and professional liability litigation. Mr. Kelly served as law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence A. Whipple, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, for the 1975-1976 Term. From 1976 to 1983, he was associated with the law firm of Lum, Biunno & Tompkins. From 1983 to 1988, he was a partner with Tompkins, McGuire & Wachenfeld. In 1988, he joined the law firm of McElroy, Deutsch & Mulvaney, LLP where he was a partner from 1989 to 2004. He has appeared in jurisdictions nationwide on behalf of insurers and other commercial clients. Mr. Kelly’s reported decisions include insurance coverage and allocation issues, Constitutional issues, federal securities law issues and professional liability issues.
