Trademark
Lori Patrick is an Associate of the firm where she practices in the commercial litigation group with an emphasis on intellectual property, contract disputes, and land use disputes. Her practice concentrates on numerous types of claims including patent and trademark infringement claims, preparation and prosecution of trademark applications to the overseeing of trademark oppositions in addition to general corporate claims.
Ms. Patrick has experience in all phases of litigation from discovery through appellate briefing. She is also experienced in practicing before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in the United States Patent and Trademark Office concerning trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
Ms. Patrick also acts as corporate counsel to a number of small and mid-size businesses, which involves such areas as consultation on corporate strategy, trademark registerability, and infringement, patent infringement and defense, use and protection of trade secrets, and corporate structures.
Ms. Patrick served as judicial clerk for the Honorable Sybil R. Moses, Assignment Judge for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, for the 2002-2003 Term. She was formerly associated with McElroy, Deutsch & Mulvaney, LLP and she joined the law firm of Coughlin Duffy LLP at its inception in March 2004.
